افتتح المحاضرة السكرتير العام لسيجري الوطنية الأردنية، المهندس أحمد الدهني، حيث رحب بالحضور وتحدث عن الدور المحوري لسيجري في تمكين المهندسين في قطاع الطاقة وتعزيز التواصل بين القطاع الأكاديمي والصناعي في الأردن. وأوضح كيف يمكن أن تسهم التقنيات الحديثة في تحسين استدامة الطاقة واستقرار الشبكة الكهربائية.
تبع ذلك تقديم المحاضرة من قبل Dr. Carlos Alvarez من شركة Huawei، حيث تناولت أهمية “Grid Forming Inverters” وتأثيرها على الشبكة الكهربائية، بالإضافة إلى استعراض أمثلة لمشاريع ناجحة حول العالم.
Specialized Scientific Lecture on “Grid Forming Inverter”
Jordan CIGRE National Committee (JCNC) in collaboration with IEEE Jordan and Huawei, held a specialized scientific lecture on Monday, January 27, 2025.
The lecture was opened by the General Secretary of JCNC, Eng. Ahmed Al-Dohni, who welcomed the attendees and discussed JCNCI’s pivotal role in empowering engineers within the energy sector and enhancing communication between the academic and industrial sectors in Jordan. He highlighted how modern technologies can significantly improve energy sustainability and the stability of the electrical grid.
Following this, Dr. Carlos Alvarez from Huawei delivered the lecture, discussing the significance of “Grid Forming Inverters” and their impact on the electrical grid, along with examples of successful projects worldwide.
